2019 Jeep Wrangler: A Charmingly Capable Off-Road Classic

Following last year’s redesign, the latest 2019 Jeep Wrangler returns with the iconic soft-top style and a handful of new niceties, including the addition of adaptive cruise control and forward-collision warning to the Advanced Safety Group, and a fancy pearl-turquoise Bikini color option. Yet beneath all the decorative and somewhat upmarket additions, this Jeep Wrangler is clearly a callback to its WWII-era, open-air ancestor.

Hey, we’re not complaining, and neither should you – the 2019 Wrangler may sport a more retro look, but it remains one of the most capable off-road SUVs you’ll find anywhere.

Dodge, Jeep & RAM Win 2018 Total Quality Impact Awards

The 24th annual Total Quality Impact™ (TQI) awards were announced recently, and FCA was the clear winner with Dodge, Jeep, and RAM all earning trophies. What are the TQI awards, you ask? But enough about the what; let’s discuss the why. Ladies and gentlemen, here are the prized Jeep, RAM and Dodge winners.

Dodge Durango: Best Midsize SUV

Thanks to a mix of high-end utility, built-in technology, and class-leading towing capability of 8,700 pounds, the new Durango was rewarded TQI’s Best Mid-Size SUV Award for the fifth time in six years. A competent all-weather SUV, the Durango’s is also a worthy trip-taker with its 26 mpg rating (highway), especially compared to other three-row SUVs in the segment. For that reason and many others, the Durango is not only TQI’s top midsize SUV but also the New England Motor Press Association’s official Winter SUV of the Year

We won’t beat around the bush—sometimes we need to binge YouTube videos just to feel alive. Instead of filing that TPS report right this second, take a 10-minute break to watch these great car commercials from Dodge, RAM, Jeep, and Chrysler. Some will make you laugh, some will make you cry, but they’ll all keep you entertained. And that’s something, right?

Halloween Jeep Commercial

Look, it’s not our job to ask why human-sized hamsters are driving around in Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawks. Our job is to showcase the very best cars commercials of all time, and that means highlighting the odd, the peculiar, the downright surreal. This 2018 Jeep commercial is all three, and then some. (Don’t worry – the Grand Cherokee SUVs at our Jeep dealership near Hoover do not include nightmare-causing rodents.) Continue reading “The Best Car Commercials from the Last Decade”
